SmoothBeam™ Laser is a new, non-invasive, highly effective laser treatment to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating the body’s natural collagen-building process. SmoothBeam™ skin treatment is a revolutionary way to combat the signs of aging and acne scarring. This procedure stimulates healthier looking skin by using an infrared laser together with a cooling process to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. There are no harsh chemicals and no long recovery times. SmoothBeam™ treatments are gentle, safe and effectiveon all pigmentation and skin types.
What Conditions Does Smoothbeam™ Laser Treat?
Smoothbeam™ provides facial rejuvenation for fine lines around the lips and eyes, deeper lines and grooves that form in our brow, next to the nose and down to the corners of our mouth. It also helps improve surface irregularities such as pigment discolorations, acne scarring and active acne found on the face, neck, shoulders, upper back and chest.
How Does The Treatment Work?
SmoothBeam™ combines a cooling cryogen spray and a diode laser to give you optimal results with the least inconvenience. The protective cooling spray is applied to the skin, allowing the SmoothBeam™ laser light to pass harmlessly through the upper layers of your skin to stimulate the cells deep below the surface that produce natural collagen. The collagen and elastin fibers continue to multiply after your treatment, and you will continue to see improved results over the months ahead. SmoothBeam™ also targets sebaceous glands to treat both inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions. It works by causing thermal injury to these glands getting to the root cause of acne.
How long does a treatment take and how many treatments are necessary?
The SmoothBeam™ treatment is so quick and easy. Many patients come in for treatment during their lunch hour. The treatment takes between 15 and 30 minutes, and there are virtually no side effects. You can reapply your makeup right away and carry on with you day. Clinical studies suggest that an average of two to three treatments are needed to stimulate new collagen growth. Treatments are typically performed 3 to 4 weeks apart. We also recommend regular touch up treatments to sustain the continued growth of new collagen.

Tattoo removal using earlier methods such as dermabrasions, surgical excision and chemical peels are invasive, painful and often leave behind scars in place of the tattoo.
The advent of lasers has ushered in a system that targets only the ink used in the tattoo process. With our advanced laser system, we can remove most tattoo inks safely and without leaving a scar.
Medical lasers used to remove tattoos are designed to produce specific wavelengths of light that passes through the skin and is absorbed by the ink. The absorption of the light energy destructs the tattoo ink, which is then removed by the body’s natural filtering system.
Is the tattoo removal process painful?
The laser beams light in very short flashes of light or pulses. The impact of the energy from the intense pulse may feel similar to the snap of a rubber band on the skin. Most patients do not require anesthesia.
How many treatments will it take to remove the tattoo?
Large or heavy pigmented tattoos applied by a professional require multiple treatments and nonprofessional tattoos may require 3 to 4 treatments. All treatments should be spaced about 3 to 4 weeks apart. The number of treatments needed depends on the size, location, type and depth of the ink in the skin. Treatment sessions generally take from 10 to 30 minutes.
Is post-treatment care necessary?
Yes. The treated area should be kept clean (not scrubbed) with application of antibacterial ointment administered by your doctor.

The Thermage® Procedure is a revolutionary tissue tightening non-surgical face lift. Thermage works by heating the underlying layers of the skin with a unique delivery of radio frequency (RF) energy, all the while protecting the skin’s top layer with a cooling spray. The result is immediate collagen contraction, which, over time, will provide the skin with new collagen production.
Because the Thermage® Tissue Tightening Procedure is non-surgical there is no down time, no recovery time. You won't have to hide your face in bandages for several weeks after Thermage.
Collagen is to our skin what calcium is to our bones. It is our skin's support structure. Over time, collagen becomes depleted or damaged by the sun and other environmental factors, resulting in thin or loose skin. To counteract this, many opt for the traditional face lift, a process which literally picks the skin up and lifts it to give a tighter, more youthful appearance -- but this procedure does nothing to replace the skin's natural supply of collagen. Skin care experts have developed a non-surgical alternative to the traditional face lift.
If your skin is hanging around your eyes, jowls, neck, breasts or buttocks due to a loss of collagen you may qualify for this state-of-the-art procedure – cosmetic dermatology that is changing the way plastic surgery is performed.
